Present: Dave Gilbreath (CCCSYV), Bill Stevens (AARP), Steve Loeb (VISTA with the YCABC), Isabel Garcia (Catholic Charities Housing Service), Jessica Morgan (Heritage University), Homero Tamez (Northwest Fair Housing Alliance), Michele Beso (Northwest Justice Project), Carole Folson-Hill (La Casa Hogar), Angelica Zepeda (La Casa Hogar), Jim Colepaugh (EPIC), Luz Gutierrez (RCDR Business Resource & Training Center), Sylvia Martinez (IRS, connected remotely by phone).

Call to Order: Dave Gilbreath called the meeting to order at approximately 9:35AM.

Minutes Review/Approval: Minutes from the prior meeting were approved without changes.

Purpose: The major purpose of the meeting was to inform various agencies about the Bank on Yakima County program that is expected to be launched in April, 2010.

Presentation/Discussion: Dave gave a presentation on the purpose on Bank-On Program. Topics covered included the purpose of the Bank on Yakima County program, target population, key partners, and client testimony from other locations. After the presentation, a discussion ensued about potential challenges the program faces. Topics discussed include the training of bank members and training clients how to interact to gain the most effective customer support.

Meeting adjourned at 10:35 AM.
