Snohomish County Asset Building Coalition

SnohomishABC

In 2006, the Snohomish County Financial Asset Development Coalition was convened by Snohomish County Human Services Department’s Community Action Partnership Division in cooperation with Human Services Department, United Way of Snohomish County and Workforce Development Council Snohomish County.

The Snohomish County Financial Asset Development Coalition started as a collaborative effort and has evolved in to a coalition of engaged community partners. We ask you to join us as we expand our asset building coalition that continues to be innovative and intentional in planning an approach toward creating self sufficiency in our community. Through community focus in increasing capacity building, reception of tax refunds for low income families, financial education, public policy awareness and asset ownership we can help families thrive in Snohomish County.

Vision
The Snohomish County Financial Asset Development Coalition envisions a Snohomish County wherein all individuals and families are able to live, work, meet basic needs, prosper, and realize their potential.

Mission
In partnership with an engaged community, the purpose of the Snohomish County Financial Asset Development Coalition is to provide Snohomish County residents with a variety of pathways to prosperity by sharing a full range of high-quality tools and services for building financial assets.

Objectives
We are working to advance the following five objectives:
